Terms & Conditions for the Rotary Club of Bristol, TN/VA Human Trafficking Summit
Welcome to the Human Trafficking Summit website. By accessing this website, registering for the event, or attending the summit, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before registering or participating.
Event Information
The Human Trafficking Summit is an educational and awareness-focused event hosted in partnership with Rotary District 7570 and affiliated organizations. The summit is designed to provide educators, healthcare professionals, parents, law enforcement personnel, first responders, and community members with information, prevention strategies, and resources related to human trafficking awareness and prevention. Event details, speakers, schedules, and programming are subject to change without prior notice.
Registration & Donation Policy
A $20 registration fee is required to reserve attendance for the event. While presented as a registration fee for attendance purposes, proceeds from registrations are intended to support nonprofit initiatives and organizations focused on combating human trafficking, prevention education, survivor advocacy, and Rotary-related charitable efforts associated with this cause.
By submitting payment, you acknowledge and understand:
- Registration fees may be treated as charitable contributions or donations supporting nonprofit and awareness initiatives.
- Registration does not guarantee seating once venue capacity limits have been reached.
- Registration fees are generally non-refundable except in cases where the event is canceled by organizers.
- If you are unable to attend, your registration payment may still be retained and directed toward nonprofit efforts associated with the summit mission.
Event Changes & Cancellation
Organizers reserve the right to modify speakers, schedules, venues, programming, or event timing at any time due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, travel complications, emergencies, weather conditions, or unforeseen operational issues. In the event of cancellation, organizers may determine whether refunds, credits, or donation reallocations are appropriate at their sole discretion.

Views and opinions expressed by speakers, sponsors, presenters, or attendees are their own and do not necessarily reflect the official views of Rotary District 7570, participating Rotary Clubs, sponsors, venue partners, or affiliated organizations. Summit content is intended for educational and informational purposes only and should not be interpreted as legal, medical, psychological, investigative, or professional counseling advice.
Photography, Video & Media Release
By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded during summit activities. Organizers reserve the right to use photographs, video footage, audio recordings, testimonials, or likenesses captured during the event for promotional, educational, marketing, nonprofit, or future event purposes without compensation or additional approval. If you do not wish to appear in media materials, you should notify event staff in writing prior to the event.
Code of Conduct
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, vendors, and participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the event. Harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, disruptive conduct, unlawful activity, or inappropriate behavior toward attendees or staff will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
Website Use
All website content, including graphics, logos, branding, written content, event materials, videos, and downloadable resources, is the property of the Human Trafficking Summit, Rotary District 7570, or their respective content owners unless otherwise stated. Users may not:
